I've noticed that some of the cars pictured on the forum have carpets with a different colored trim on them. I've decoded that I want an oatmeal or light grey carpet with dark red or "wine" colored trim/binding.

Does anyone know which manufacturer offers a carpet replacement kit like the ones that I mentioned?

Any help at all would be great.

Thanks,

TC

Tom:

If you want to go the custom route, I've found what I believe are the two best custom upholsterers in our area, in order of "goodness" (at least, from their work on custom Street
Rods). Either one could provide either custom carpets OR a full custom interior:

Fred Carello
71 Lehigh Street
Warwick, RI
(401) 739-4462

New England Trim
Route 20 (Southwest Cut-off)
Shrewsbury, MA

or Bill at Hyannis Auto/Boat Upholstery (sorry, don't have a number) There's also an upholstery place in Taunton, but I've not yet dealt with them.

Or, if you already had the carpeting and the trim you wish to use, almost any auto upholstery place could stich the new trim onto what you have.

The "floating tonneau" is to make the speedster look fast standing still :)
You mean you missed the chrome VW column and pedal assembly?
I had them chromed at a shop that does mostly Harley stuff so I figured who would do "those" Harley guys wrong ?
The shame to this is that this Raby Type IV powered speedster sits in storage in a shop garage with 26 miles on it.
