The yellow one I didn't buy.
Alright, here are a couple more.
We had a 69 Bug convertible in a similar bright yellow, looks better than I thought on the speedster 👍

@wrkinprogress posted:.Anyone else give any credence to the "pale colors for visibility to other drivers" issue?
Absolutely.
Light colors will make your car much more visible to the roughly 65 per cent of today's drivers who are actually looking out the windshield as they drive.
Won't matter much to the rest, though.
Seriously, I always assume no one can see me in this car (mine's light ivory). And traffic conditions factor into where I will and won't drive it. Like rainstorms and Home Depot parking lots, I avoid busy city streets and suburban mallscapes like the plague.
I got the Subaru battle wagon for a reason.
Be careful out there, kids.

Paul ! Haven't seen you for a while ! Or read you on here !...............2498 CC ! WOW !

It's alter ego is "The Guam Bomb".
Hey Bruce...... I've been keeping up with your posts. Yes I gathered parts for a couple of years. A TF 1 case, 90 mm crankshaft by 94 mm bore, mini wedge port heads yadda yadda. I'll remain an air cooled guy for ever. I have lots of low end torque. My son and I are going to look at a 55 oval survivor tomorrow.... 25 horse power wow.
Glad to hear from you Paul. I think of you often. Since you've been following my posts you know what a long wait I been through since I had a set of wheels. Hopefully this year I'll get back into it. Been into woodworking the last few years and making stuff that had been on a back burner for a long time. You know how it is. In retirement the ones who live to enjoy a long one stay busy and active with all kinds of interests......LG.....Life is Good !...........Bruce
