I'd miss the 'banter' too much to depart from the speedster and spyderowners' forums quickly - will linger a while - and plan to 'shop' a bit for a 'next' car of some sort (replica porsche speedster?, roadster? intermec? 'real' porsche 924S?, 968?, 911?, other? ) in the upcoming months......RickJ

What was it about the spyder you did not like compared to a speedster?

I liked the Spyder enough to buy it and own/enjoy it for 7 years - time for a change, though...
