What I see there is an otherwise completely stock engine (other than a slight displacement increase- roughly 10%) built with big valve heads. I'm sure it will run ok and seem to drive fine, but never have all the bottom end/lower midrange it should have and (if you were to keep track) always be just a little sad in the mileage department. $3950 (+ core) seems a little much for a "rebuild" that says nothing about about pistons/cylinders and cam/lifters so you have to assume the barrels have been honed, the pistons (used) may or may not have new rings, the camshaft is used as well as the lifters (which may or may not be re-faced), and nothing about the clutch or the case being even line bored. The only things new are the heads, bearings and pushrod tubes. Installation "starts at $300".
