Found this on the local CraigsList:

Would make an absolutely PERFECT drive train for someone looking to build a Type IV powered Speedster with a fully automatic transmission. Speed and luxury, power and convenience. Very cool ! ! !

PLUS, these came with gas heaters as standard, the sweet little ones that fit above the transaxle. Nice chance to get the heater AND all of the heat and defroster ducting, dash controls, relays, fuel pump, and timer, everything needed for installation in one swoop.

Wish that I didn't have what I DO have in front of me, I'd really love to scoop this one up. These are getting hard to find for sure.

If you wanna grab it up, arrange for payment and I'll get it for you. I can hold onto it until you're ready to come and get it in the Spring/Summer.

If you set things up, just lemme know, OK?

It's SUCH a neat bunch of rare parts all wrapped in a neat package. He mentions that the engine needs something, but as long as it's sound and complete, who cares. Hopefully it needs the injection or dual carbs worked on since those'll be the first things to go, I suspect.

Anyway, you need me, you got me.

It's all yours. I can't get to my trailer for another two months and I would prefer to go Subaru power anyway (What the hell......I'm already building the most pre-stressed, pan-to-hold-a-350hp-Subaru in existence. Might as well finish it).

Besides, if it were a 412, well, that's another thing.

Hey! Thinking of that, didn't they dump a flat six into some of those little wagons??
