I found a local offer on a very nice '95 993, 911 with super low miles that is tempting me. In order for me to make such a move, I'd have to move my '86 Carrera first. I had a 84 Factory Wide Body Carrera....moved up to a 97 993S....a very big mistake for me two different cars
Hmmm, how should I interpret that last comment...shouldn't have given up the wide body and should not have picked up the '97? I'm all ears.
I have had a 914,912E, 911SC, a couple of 80s Carreras, a 930 turbo and 2 speedsters...and the 97 993. The 993 was way too complex, although the 95 has the OBD 1 system, and has a somewhat less complex emission system compared to the 96-97. Check the forums on Pelican Parts...just my thoughts I am 62 and have these cars since I was 27...
flyenby- no, no, no. He really wants the 993. He needs to sell his Carrera to his old buddy in Stanistan.
