Good for you.  That is quite the task you have set for yourself.

Congratulations ! You are right on track and with the proper helper you have, this will probably be in the family for a long time. There's no way to explain the satisfaction  that you will have in this endeavor. It will usually take you twice as long as you estimated to finish it so just plan on that part. Of course there will be some frustration as well but I always chalked that up to a "learning experience"

Please do post lots of pictures and tell us what your doing as you go along.  Your first name would be nice to know for our replies and help/advice too.

No hay forma de explicar la satisfacción que tendrá en este esfuerzo. Por lo general, tardará el doble de lo que estimó para terminarlo, así que solo planee esa parte. Por supuesto, también habrá cierta frustración, pero siempre lo atribuí a una "experiencia de aprendizaje".

Si, are you welding in new bowden tube etc so that you do not have to have a broken or detached tubes for your clutch ?

Hello, if you refer to the internal pipes of the chassis, just leave the throttle, clutch and parking brake, respecting the original pipes, take them out and cut the excess from the rear tip, lose others (brakes, fuel, etc.) will be external stapled to the chassis.

I forgot to clarify that the style of the car is going to be a 50s race car

Nice project !  Having your soon as your helper is the important facet of the build. Kids are never too young to begin to learn hands on tasks that will form a close knit father son relationship . Six months ago, I met a guy that owns a body shop in Moorefield WV Brandon was building a New Beetle truck conversion as I recently did. I drove  an hour and a half to see the progress on the pick up conversion meet Brandon and his son. His boy was shy and had minimal interest in the build I had brought along a photo album of my many builds and sat with him as we flipped pages. I returned a few months later to help set the pick up bed in place . Brandon's boy was a complete different he was kid outgoing telling me all about the build and very "project knowledgeable"  for a 11 y/o kid. What a huge transformation and his Dad was quite proud.

It is looking amazing. Love the way the wheel/tire size looks tucked in and so vintage; which is what I tried to do in mine.

are the original wheels of the 56´ beetle come in 15 "

Early Beetle as well as Porsche wheels were 16” diameter; 4.5” wide. Then later went to 15” diameter and 4.5” wide.
