Watched a YouTube video of Randy of Carchaeology with a container of parts, looks like it was supposed to go overseas to a dune buggy manufacturer- I immediately thought of our little cars with the shortened pans:

What a score. Is anyone still building pan-based speedsters? And if so, does the 14" hack correspond to a Speedster kit?
The shortened pans are too short for a Speedster.
Yeah, that's dune-buggy length.
