contemplating colors?!

Thanks for the post Jane. Man, that makes it sooooo much more confusing but easier to visualize. I saw 2 colors that I had totally dismissed that I cannot now stop staring at. Also, it makes my wonder if I'm too young for one of these. :>) I have the grey hair so I guess I can fly under the radar. Can anyone identify these by code or name with 100% certainty? I did find a color chart but the samples are small.

That first one, Steve, might be Stone Gray. Scott Sloan's IM is Stone Gray. Every time we get together with him for a run or campout, I find I have more pictures of HIS car than any other one at the event including my own.

The color really gets to you. Might look in his pics to see what you think.

Man, Scott even has the seat color that I like. If I go that route I'll have to get a pink top or something. There is a Irish Green/Brown car in L.A. with that interior color that I like but the dealer is overpriced by several thousand, and it is "just" a 1600.

hey Steve, here's a lot of the same cars but listed with the paint codes. I too was drawn to the stone gray pictures but funny how it looks different depending on the lighting more so than other colors I think, in some it's very pea green to me and in others not really.

OK, add Turkish Red and Speedster Blue to my Top 5. Thanks all for the help. Photos are great. The good news is that I don't hate a single car that I have seen. I am set on a ragtop as I am in Cali and had a targa topped car (Honda del Sol) in the past, but the Coupes are stunning and timeless. I had the top off 300+ days a year.

I don't know what Porsche called it, but the blue is very similar to the "dove blue" of my '64 VW panel bus. It's a great color.
