Even though I'm sittin here, looking out over the Sea of Cortez in Baja Mexico, with the sun setting behind me, with a Modelo Negra in my hand, listening to Jimmy Buffet roll out the the words to "Cheeseburger In Paradise", I get a little ache that starts at the nap of my neck and travels down to my spine...... It's not painful, but it is a feeling of emptiness that requires more beer to ease that familiar feeling of wanting to be somewhere else.... I'm old enough to realize that we don't get to do all the things we want to do when we want to do them. So what do we do ? I guess we do what we can when we can !

I had really planned to attend the Carlisle and SLO Events this year. I was looking ...SO.... forward to meeting all you guys who I see posting on this site all year and being able to connect faces with the names. By now a lot of you seem like old friends to me and it's distressing to know that another year will go by before I have another chance to meet and "party" with you...... OK....so much for the maudlin dialog ( I've had 3 Steel Reserve 211's now)    I wish you all to have a safe and great time at both events and hope that I can attend next year....From my heart to yours..........Bruce

That's Annie Anorexic, my next door neighbor, she used to have some meat on her bones before I installed the wind wings ! She really appreciates them now and says her wig stays on !  Other drivers coming up from behind think I'm lucky or the Speedster is just a "chick magnet" to have a cool blond as my cruising buddy.....That is......until they get next to me or pass me......Ha ha !

This is her Brother, Bill Lemic. he has to wear a hat so his gourde doesn't get too sun burned. He lives with Annie because they both out lived their spouses. (cartel employee's)  The "bones" of the matter is that their parents were too permissive in the drinking part of life's lessons. That's why it's not coffee in her mug. I'm not sure what she had in that mug that day because the smell was unfamiliar to me.  maybe one of these days I can "rib" her into telling me what she actually had in that cup. Bill tells me that it's something that really sticks to your ribs.....................Bruce
