I have a 79 IM speedster that I need a top for, anyone know the best place to buy a top?

Nope - low bow vs high bow, regular frame versus scissors frame, etc. Jane, you'll probably have to call Henry for that one.

And of course a used one will not have snaps in right places to match up with ones in the body.

Some hook in the front, some hook in the back....wait, I think I'm confused about the thread now.

I still want a perfect top made for my D and done by a pro speedster specialist.

i can't see why a VS wouldnt fit a '79 IM.

i had to modify my bows a little bit to fit the top (and i still fit inside (6'2"))

I'll have to dig around for his number, if you're interested. He does not advertise and doesn't have an easy listed number to find but he's so good he's booked out over a year on word of mouth advertising (and people seeing his work at car shows).

I have to think, though, that there's someone in North Carolina who's got to be pretty good at this......

Ya have to realise my eyesight is ok by day But a foggy nite or rain.. Im parked.

I don't like Bumper to bumper 60 mph traffic eather..and Long long trips can make it worse.

That and it gets on my nerves I have strained them when driving facing the sun early morning or late evening. They need to be closer in the tri state area.

Barry - You need to get out more! Rhode Island isn't that far. I'm sure there are qualified places near you - might check out Hemmings.

Simon If you didn't know My car is a VS Speedster with a real Roadster top. it's all to itshelf. I have often wonder if a Cabriola top might work

I've never got any confirming feedback about that. Otherwise it would have to be totaly custom made, again
