Convert 4 bolt to 5 bolt wheel pattern

i have a 2002 IM w/ 4 wheel disc brakes. i'd like to convert from the 4 bolt 130mm pattern to a 5 bolts pattern. your thoughts and recommendations are requested.

Are you looking to go with an aftermarket custom wheel? If not...why change for one extra stud bolt. You are really not going to gain anything.

If you want to convert to the old wide five style 205 mm pattern you'd have to replace both disc brake systems since there are no interchangeable rotors. If your car had drums and a ball joint front end the change would've been simple; just replacing the front drums for '66 or '67 units and the back ones for same year units with two spacers.

If you want to go to the 130 mm 5 bolt you can just swap your rotors.

I'm using CB Performance Wide Five discs and Center Line rims.
They work like a champ. Maybe 20 minutes each wheel for the changeover.

If you want to use an aftermarket set up, I have a pair of really expensive billet adapters that I am willing to sell cheap (expensive miscalculation and non-returnable). They go from the 4 X 130 to 5 X 4.75" (Chevy) pattern and they are 2" thick.

I'm looking to go to a set of after market wheels. I like the looks of the wheels on last year's the Mustang GT.

Ron, I'm interested in the 2" adapters. I probably only need 2 for the front but will buy all 4 if you want to dump them. I guess I'll also be taking a chance but what the hell, these cars are money pits anyway. I'm trying to fit a wheel with less offset than my current wheel and want to fill the flaired wheel well. you did say cheap right.

Nice set of wheels. I wanted those for my other car but they became to expensive as they would have to custom make them. Make sure to post a pic when you get them on the car.
