I would imagine you can get them from any of the guys at Beck (Carey) JPS (John) or Vintage (Kirk)? If you look on the aluminum trim that goes around your windsheild you'll notice at the top about 6-8 inches in from either side a slight "bump", that is where your clips lock the top to your windsheild. Simply find the center of your front bow mark it with chalk then line it up with the center post for the windshield that will center the top. Then you'll be able to mark the spot where the clips will go.
That sounds like a real Porsche top.

The 2 brackets on mine were gone But with pictures were easy to make.

They are 1 1/2 inch long, and 5/8 wide and 3/16 thick, with a slight offset of 3/8. They can be made from a old V W bumper bracket.

Mine bolted to the rear body bow and hang down and bolted to the body.

Does this sound like what your needing?
Glenn,
Are you talking about where the bows bolt to the inside behind the seats? If so you can buy them for a few bucks. I got mine from Kirk but I'm sure any of the makers have them. Let me know - if you need pics I'll take them and send them. Joseph - I don't know if I can help as I'm not sure I've ever seen brackets that connect the top to the back? Sorry
My top has two 3/8" tubing bows that support the roof. They are secured behind the front seats by a single bolt. Since I normally only drive it in sunny weather I leave the top off. The top does not fold down that well when it is on. I would think there is some sort of bracket for this that does a better job and looks half decent. I have seen the picture of the bracket in the CMC/Fiberfab manual on the site. I should have fixed this years ago. I weould like to see acouple of picture if you can. It would be appreciated. I think these are the same items Joseph is looking for as well.

Thanks
I put together a sketch of my CMC convertible top brackets and included a page from the manual. The brackets are just a short length of 1" steel angle with one leg trimmed back and a couple of holes. There is a left hand and right hand. Each bracket attaches to a threaded steel piece that is bonded to the back side of the fiberglass. The manual says the threads are 1/4"-20, but mine were 5/16-18. If yours are 1/4", I would drill that hole in the bracket 1/4" diameter (a 1/4" bolt will fit through a 1/4" drilled hole). Also, the manual does not show, but you will likely need a spacer between the bracket and the body to keep the bracket from rubbing. Let me know if you would like more info.

Duh! So sorry Joseph: I just realized that I've been writing Glenn when it's you that was looking for info. I've been recovering from a bug for the last few days and haven't had the energy to get out to my garage to take any photos. I promise as soon as I can get off my ass I'll post them. Hopefully in the next day or two as I just got a couple items to put on my speedie but just can't muster the energy. Thanks, Mickey
Opps..
No that is a totaly different set up. On a draus top they have a bow that lays tight to the rear cab that is held n place with 2 brackets as I discribed ,,there are no snaps at all . Only the 2 latches at the windshield.

It has a fully retractible sissor frame that even has chrome gutters. A very very different animal.

I'm sorry
