Robert,

This may come across as half backed but I have dyed a few vinyl interiors with absolute success and can easily dye your exsisitng white top and side curtains.
I use aerosol dyes available through Corvette Central.

Simple soap and water cleaning followed by alcohol wipe down and shoot on the dye, dries in 15 minutes and cannot be scrapped even with a finger nail.
The last time I used vinyl dye was about 5 years ago. I tuned up the interior of my boat. Since then, the finish has been exposed to rain, sun and plain old wear and tear. Touch up spray is easily done on any spots that get "scuffed".
As I recall, the cost was about 4bucks a can and I got it at a generic auto parts store. I would suggest that you try a trial spray on somthing other than your top before you decide if it works for you.
I know this picture isn't the best, but the grey surfaces are where I used the dye.

Robert,

Upholstery dye that will withstand exterior use.

I've used this dye from Eastwood and it's really good! You can't tell the color came from a can when it's finished.
They sell a cleaner to use before the dye, but they were out of stock and the sales guy said they don't sell that much of it. So I just cleaned with detergent several times til it was clean and oil free.

This stuff is really nasty smelling. Use protection while spraying this stuff. I'm sure it's not too healthy to breathe or be in extended contact with.
It takes several weeks for the smell to go away. I think it's dry enough to use in a day or so if you can stand the smell. (gives me a headache)
Here's a photo of some seats I dyed with the Eastwood product. They started life tan in color. I dyed them a medium gray.
