I just purchased a convex, Aero mirror from NLA for the passenger side of my 2004 Vintage but it doesn't appear to be any different than the ones that came on the car. I laid a straight edge across the surface of the mirror glass and it is as flat as can be. Am I missing something here? I thought that the "convex" mirror provided a wider field of vision not available from the stock, flat mirrors due to the convex glass.

Can someone who has purchased and installed one of these mirrors provide some input as to whether these mirrors actually do provide a wider field of vision than the ones provided by vintage?

Thanks, Rich

Troy,

Thanks for the information. NLA actually sent me two mirrors as the retaning ring on the first one was deformed and would not stay in.

Unlike the first one which was in two pieces and wrapped separately the second one was completely assembled almost like it had been removed from another vehicle.

I will compare it with the driver's side mirror to see if there is a difference.
