Does anyone have any experience with the convex Aero rearview mirror sold by NLA? Are they the same or even close to the shape of the regular mirror Kirk puts on the Vintage?

Looking at the price tag, I'd expect the difference in quality to be exceddingly fantastic...
I wonder, though, with the vibrations and usual comments on lack of mirror viewing capacity, if the extra money is worth it.

It's not a matter of price, it's a matter of safety and asthetics. If it looks the same as the drivers side mirror I currently and it provides a better field of view I'll buy it. If it looks almost the same, I'll think about it and if it looks like the passenger side mirror on my dads motorhome, forget it. I don't have vibration problems with my current mirrors, so that is not a concern.
If there is anyone who has ever seen one of these or has one, I'd like to hear from you.

Troy - go to a junkyard, buy a convex mirror (just the glass) from a wreck, take the glass and your current RH mirror to a glass cutter. Have him cut the convex glass to fit your current mirror. You can install the glass any number of ways - epoxying right to your current glass would be the easiest.

Troy, Yes, the quality is much better. The chrome plating, the inside ring is bright white and wont yellow. And, it will adjust without having to cut or dremel anything out. I used my exsisting base. I have the Stodard one. I am pretty sure is said made in Germany.

It looks like there is some sort of affiliation between Stoddard and NLA. The bottom of the NLA site has a copyright that says Stoddard-NLA. And the picture on the Stoddard site is the same one on the NLA site.

That's a great idea and would be a lot cheaper, but I need to buy a mirror for my silver Speedster anyway, so I'll buy the convex mirror for my blue Speedster and put my perectly good old mirror on the silver Speedster.
