Cool Convertible D at Cars n Coffee

I was in LA for work a few weeks ago and went to the cars n coffee event in Irvine. Well worth it if anyone is considering going..

This was my favorite of the show... Looks like they added beehives to the rear.

Yelp! the windshield frame is incorperated into the body and is body color a TRue D will have a chrome seperate frame but also squared up for windows and top.

This one is a speedster with the D parts. A true 1957 D replica

A 1958 Roadster will have the same parts but the doors and back half of the car rear cowl deck are 3 inces higher. very different And yo just cant slap the frame on a speedster and expect it to work there are things to alter defrost vents the door post and door fronts must be altered Im not even including the roll up window mods

I did it ,, It a different animule.

Tim - glad you had a chance to check out C & C! Its a totally bad-ass show every weekend. You never know what'll show up (exotic, collector, museum piece, etc.) Hope you enjoyed the rest of your weekend in SoCal.

Thanks Jim. It was a great time. Especially coming from the great white north (Canada) where we don't get to see this type of variety. I will be back in SoCal a couple more times in the next year for work and will be going to the C and C event again,loved it.
