That car is kind of a wow. Anyone know what it is?
Don't know anything about it but it's been listed several times

I like it. Are you the phil with the steering wheel for sale?
One of Carrera Coach Works' (CCW) cars. Kinda nice but I'd get tired of all black after a while.

no
I have always admired the look of a through-the-hood tank filler, but this version is unfinished, with no dog bowl to catch water and hose to drain to ground. Rain would enter the front trunk.

I know Custom Coachwerks was purchased by Rock West Racing (Thunder Ranch a long time ago) but what is Carrera Coach Works??
I'm so confused.
This car has been up for sale a couple of times and the price has come down about 15K dollars recently. Its getting close to a legit price (drop 15K more lol). I made an offer a while back and they were inflexible at the time. It supposedly has a fresh 16K paint job on it and that is why the consigned vehicle is keeping a high price.
The trim finish is very unique... Sounds gnarly also.
You can get into a real coupe (at least a drivable 5-10 footer) for not much more than this.
I understand buying a VS, where they build tributes to cars that cost 10x as much. I don't get buying a tribute for nearly the same price as the real thing.
There are toys for every budget, but some make less sense to me than others.
I always admired this one as it's been on and off the market for years...
If they skipped the beautiful 16K paint job and opted for a beautiful 6K paint job and could then lower the price to $45,000, it would be sold
The choices we make, the choices we make....

Thunder Ranch was acquired by Carrera Coachwerks.
Carrera had to change it's name to Custom because Porsche came after them for the use of the word Carrera.
Same bunch of crooks, different name.
They imploded.
I think now the company is Kitman out of Coronado, Ca. Different ownership entirely and they seem to be an honest operation selling kits and components for Speedys and coupes, apparently working on a Spyder offering.
They have a website but the link to their FB page failed.
$55K for a $50K build...They better fix the little flaws first!!
