Our dog passed away yesterday. More on that later.
While working out my grief, I was doing some vacuum line replumbing on the speedster engine (EFI and spark). To make a clean job of it, I took off the throttle bodies and changed the plugs while I was at it (DPR6EA-9 gapped to .040).
While reassembling, I had the usual fumble of the manifold nuts where they disappear. My usual search using magnets turned up nothing. This was on the side where the AC compressor and hoses like to exert their dominance over any easy access. So, I disconnect the gas line, vacuum lines and the fuel injector plugs and pulled the manifold again for a full search.
I got my Depstech 5 mp endoscope and plugged it into my phone. The tip lit up and I went searching again. I found BOTH missing nuts tucked down beside the #4 plug inside the head. Magnets got them out.
I bought the scope about a year ago when I was redoing a bathroom and wanted to look inside the drywall.
It's not a snap-on, but it does the job just fine. $35 - https://www.amazon.com/Inspect...tible/dp/B086DMM9DX/
Now, about Mocha, she was an island dog (Rhode Island and Maui) who had more personality than you could believe. A loving, lickin', sweet and funny girl who loved nothing better than a game of eviscerate the duck toy (we still have a box full).
Mocha went whale hunting with us on the kayak, kept her new little sister in line, and protected us from the mailman. She was a great friend and we will miss her greatly.
