This might be called a red neck camper. If he had just used the VW wheels and a VW tow bar to haul it - it wouldn't be so bad. Spent maybe $35 on conversion. NOT MINE but could be yours for not $8000 but a mere $2000!

This was at Carlisle this year. Yes, that is a row of books lining the rear window. The rest of the interior was a bed. Max, I'll bet you could write a short story about this one.
