The tech thread on Carlisle running stats gave some cooling figures which prompts this question. I have a 1915 engine with a thin line sump. The anticipated "average" temperatures from SoCal to Colorado are in the 90's-100's in September. Not all of the way of course, but several hundred miles. How would you add to or change this set up in anticipation of this kind of heat?

Carbs are Weber 44 IDF's...36mm venturi...60 idle jets...202 air correction jets...155 mains...and F-11 tubes....Be advised that although this works for me, my car is not as heavy as a Speedster and does not have the cooling restrictions a Speedster normaly does.

There for, this combination may not work for you....If you want to run Webers, buy the TECH MANUAL, read it throughly and then select your carbs and or parts.....

Hope this helps....
