This years event is scheduled for Oct 6 & 7. Put on by the same guy, Steve Earle, who does Monterrey Historics. A quality event. Anybody interested in convoying? The bigger question is, "could we park in the designated car club area inside the main track entrance? Does Speedster Owners Club qualify as a recognized car club at this type of event"? There must be fifty car clubs listed in the San Diego paper every Saturday, does anyone know if we qualify? Do we need some stinkin' badges?

I've been at this race when it was 100 degrees in the shade, and I've been there when I was wishing for my winter jacket. Parking close can be a real quality of event improvement.

I'll be leaving this weekend for the rest of the summer, so I took the liberty of posting this kinda early.
