I saw a "1964" Ferrari 250 GT REPLICA go for $250,000 this morning on ESPN2 at the R&M(?) Auction. It apparently had authentic Ferrari parts here and there, some of the car was built from scratch by craftsman. It had some sort of ID plate that apparently linked it to Ferrari in some way? Anyway, the buyer: none other than Skip Barber, who said he's just gonna drive it around. By the way, originals are going for $11-14 million!!!! Thought of you when I saw it.

Nah, not yet. I emailed him and told him my Speedster was in "surgery" so it would be a while before it would be put back together. I went over to the shop yesterday and most of the parts are in (rebuild kit, heads etc...) as well a tri mill exhaust, he had just gotten the case back, he sent it out to be dipped and cleaned up. I'm excited to see what a difference it'll make!
