Exhaust system is the first thing to be replaced.
NOT to worry about exhaust - first speed bump and it will be gone!

When I drove it it scraped on a speed bump going back into the PO's housing complex...lol...it's gotta go
That exhaust explains why the a$$ end is so high. Replace it with an A1 from Tiger and lower the rear end a bit.

I have a good friend that is a Bug guy, he's restored two split windows and built 3 'hot rods' and is now working on a '67 convert building it into a hot rod. I've helped him a bit doing some bodywork and some of this n'that on the '67. He said he'd help me get the rear end down where it belonged. Winter's coming so I have lots of time...lol...CO unfortunately does have SOCal weather.
