For sale an 80's Covin flared fender Porsche turbo replica. This is a rare early model built on a VW beetle pan and has left hand drive. I have not seen another one that wasn't right hand drive being that they were all built in the UK. I really wanted to keep this one and get it restored with a Subaru WRX engine, but it isn't in the cards for now, so I am offering the car for sale here first then other sites if not sold. I bought the car out of California this past summer without an engine. I had a Type 1 1915 dual carb engine built by a VW shop in Huntington Beach Cal. so it would cost less to have it transported by car carrier to Indiana. The car is very solid and under it's own power. It is currently in gray primer and needs to be prepped and painted. The interior needs to be completely redone. I have read that many of the original Porsche parts fit these cars. I love this car and hate to sell it. It is the makings of one heck of a cool ride for someone. The car is at my business in southern Indiana. the asking price is $6500.00. The new almost zero-mile 1915 engine is worth 85% of the asking price, not to mention the 15" Fuchs wheels on the car.
