Guys, I have a Facet (e11*72/245*95/54*0536*00) universal electronic fuel pump. It died on me yesterday and had to get towed home. I know theres some debate on whats best and whats the most resistant to the additives in the fuel. Does anybody know if this pump is OK or if there's a better recommendation ? I've used the above for about 3-4 years now.
I'm also wondering about the pressures that come with the models. I've seen many discussions where the pumps shouldn't go above 3 psi but most I see do. I found a similar pump (same manufacturer) that says 2.75 - 4 psi. Would this one work ?
I also found some facet pumps with a square body that have lower pressures but would be a little harder to incorporate they are a little different layout (all the pipework works for the cylindrical design I have now)
Any help would be much appreciated.
