Hi,
I had to smile when I saw this guy's 500cid Cadillac conversion into his 911. His disguising engine cover is really clever.
Thought I would share on here, maybe an idea for a mid-engined Subycoupe?

I have had that same book for 25 yrs. I used to dream about doing that same swap.

That book inspired me to do my first engine swap 25yrs ago. A 350 with a super T10 and a 12 bolt, strapped into a TR7!!!! I should have went with a auto trans. That car tried to KILL me more than once.

Damn, that brings back "Glory Days", well they'll pass you bye, in the wink of a young girls eye.......
Nick -

I pretty often see that car cruising around town. He also brings that car to the weekly car meet in our neighborhood (Cars & Coffee).

There are several P-car V-8 conversions in the area, 911 Coupes, Targas as well as several 914 conversions. The other 911 V-8 conversions have a similar treatment for the interior engine cover.

Here's a link to the car meet in our neighborhood where cars from the sublime to crazy exotics gather every Saturday morning.

Jim,

I hate you even more each day (in the nicest possible way, of course). Living sublimely in the land of the fruits and nuts, and catching all this car action each and every week while you're busy getting coffee in the morning. I'm telling you, it's just not fair! And that is a TON of engine in a small car. No doubt extremely sensational in a straight line, and likey a real handful around the corners. Very cool conversion, slick as a whistle.
