They sure do look nice!
Wow, agreed. They do look nice!
Gonna put them on my list of "to get."
Do the doors open and close fine with them installed?
Do they wobble all over the place when shutting the door or just driving around in general?
What are the materials these are made of? And what is the cost?
They are on my wish list too.
@Inde - Doors open & close great with windows installed, as well as the ability to adjust placement of the windows by screw adjustment for perfect fit. No wobble...the leather straps do a great job of holding the windows snug...little bit of window flex from the wind - but that is expected. And the rubber can be trimmed to fit around tonneau cover stubs if necessary.
@Doug - Here is a post from Troy regarding the Cruzin Windows he sells:
These windows are made of a special green tinted acrylic material that makes them appear to be glass. The green tint is barely visible when looking through the window, but very visible on the polished edges. The chrome plating is very high quality.
The windows were designed specifically to fit Vintage Speedster and are adjustable for any variations between Vintage Speedsters. They may fit JPS Speedsters, but I have not had a chance to try them on a JPS. They can be easily modified to fit other Speedster by drilling 4 new post mounting holes in the windows and mounting hardware.
The windows will also be offered on eBay for $300. It took me quite a bit of time and expense to have these made and I don't know if I will be making anymore when these are gone.
If you are interested in a set, please email me at vanatic99 at yahoo.com

1957 Vintage Super Widebody Speedster
Hello guy's
I'd like this stuff for my vintage speedster. I've already built mine but in fiberglass, not so cool
I'd like to know if somone can sell it And SHIP to me (In Europe, france), paypal garantie
OK, I'll help you out. How much of a guarantie are you proposing (like I hope it's the majority of the $US250)? I wanted to see if the windows would fit my car (well) so this works out for me too. D'ou etes vous en France?
thx to everybody, I am located in Haute Savoie, Alpes Française, closed to the border of swizerland, 10 kilometers of Geneva
I've seen with Troy (vanatic99@yahoo.com)
Renny in France has ordered a set and they will be shipped this week.
Doug.
Is your Speedster a Vintage or a JPS? Have you looked at my ad on eBay. That will probably answer your questions. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221086543933
SOC members get a $50 discount.
My car's an old IM and it's in the shop just now so I can't get the measurements 'till I get it back. Is the adjustment really simple (well, I mean, good looking afterwards)?
Not sure what you mean when you say "adjustment" Doug? If you purchased the windows pre-drilled for a Vintage or a JPS, the pins have a range of adjustment on the windows. In other words the pin mounting holes in the window are slotted so the the pins can slide back and forth on the windows. This gives about one inch total adjustment for any differences in where Vintage or JPS drilled the holes in the door caps.
I would need to know how far apart your door cap pin mount holes are from each other and how far the front one is from the edge of the door.
If I had a CMC I would just drill two new holes in the correct location on each door cap and be done with it.
I've just been delivered... very fast.
windows looks great and fit my vintage speedster, I just thought it was real glass...
for the moment I couldn't use it because of the hard top, but this summer it will be great
THX Doug
How does one order these? Don't see them on Ebay

Thanks Troy. By chance do you have bumper guards for my VS as well?

Spring is on the way. Time to start thinking about how cool your Speedster will look with "CruZin" windows!
Troy, I would like to order a set, What do you need?
I think you can order them directly via the eBay link listed in Troys post, above.
Ted
Not correct Ted. If he ordered them through eBay, he would pay full price of $300 + $25 shipping. He needs to order them directly from me, by either making a PayPal "Gift" payment (so I don't need to pay PayPal fees) to my PayPal account vanatic99 or by sending me a check. He is a non-supporting member, so he get's free shipping. Supporting members get free shipping plus a $25 discount.
Ooops. My mistake. Good to know.
Sorry,
Ted
checks in the mail
Glenn. Received your check and sent you a Dialog. Thank you.
Troy
Troy, any time frame for me receiving windows?
Sent you a dialog Glenn. No later than Thursday and possibly Wednesday.
Spring is nearly here and I have a limited number of "CruZin" Windows available for this year. I won't be ordering any more sets this year, so don't wait to place your order or they may be all gone.
They are true quality !
Absolutely perfect guality on my set. Got them a year ago. Installed great on my CMC, although I had just made new door tops and made them to match the side curtains. The adjustment of the pins was simple and easy. Thanks Troy for an awesome product. I love them.

Walmart - $5.99
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!
If you want the SOC discount explained above, you have to order directly from me, not through eBay. When you order through eBay, I have to pay both eBay and PayPal fees so I can't offer a discount. Thank you.
