I thought someone would leap at this, wonderful as these shifters are.
Don't make me put it on thesamba. I started to do that a few minutes ago and stopped myself. I would rather have it go to someone here.
I'll jump on in and sing the praises of the CSP. I believe that I got the first one in the SOC back in late 2008 and it has operated crisply ever since. Solid construction and no detectable wear in 9 years and the better part of 50k miles. I went with the CSP because at the time it seemed to be the only high-quality shifter besides the Berg, and I didn't like the Berg's looks in a classic Speedster. CSP has several attractive options and I believe Michael's is the same as mine, a bent shaft, round knob unit.
Somebody needs to jump on this!
Picture or link to the same might help?
And if you have ivory switches in your car you can paint the knob with Dupli-Color GMC Sahara Beige. It's an almost perfect match. I'll see if I can scare up a picture.
We're gonna get this thing sold for ya, Mike!
Is the ball able to be swapped out? If so is it 10mm?
The ball doesn't have a simple threaded hole on the bottom. It has a recess for the reverse release to move up into. I think any replacement ball would have to be made for that shifter.
interested , was gonna post something about the slop in my shifter and saw this perfect timing. im interested sending you a message.this is a direct bolt on?
well it sold to someone else does anyone else have one to sell for the same price. checking here first before going elsewere.
