Neat. I wonder if that would work on other bolts.
He did say all other nuts and bolts.
After seeing the topic title, I was sure this was about boxer shorts.

Looser underwear was the first thing I thought of!
WOW, WOW, WOW. Thanks Michael for posting that link. Who would have tried that? I can't wait to have a tight nut to wax.
I'm proud of you guys. We made it to the fourth post before we went "there".
Thank Lane. Happy I could turn this in the right direction.
Duluth Trading has "Ballroom" under shorts.
My son-in-law is a carpenter/house builder who swears by Duluth Traders clothing.
He also looks like the cartoon guy on their commercials.........Beard and all.
Mike but do they have dancing too?
Huh? Dancing? Is this the topic about the Multi Panel Mirrors? Oh, "Ball Room". I just got it. No they don't.
I'm not a believer - a Coke would probably work as well.
I've tried it and it didn't work for me. Kroil did though. HAMB forum has guys that say acetone and ATF works as good as any penetrating oil. Who knows? Where is Bruce when ya need him.

Ed's Red is some good stuff! equal parts ATF, acetone, kerosene and mineral spirits. A good all purpose solvent / lubricant.
@Jethro , I searched for Ed's Red. Do you know a source?
Duluth solved "ballroom."
These guys solved plumbers crack...
Per that crack camouflage- I wouldn't get too excited, as it's still a butt crack. I don't care how well you dress it up...
Re the penetrant discussion- I took this somewhere off this big interweb thingy (notice, Lane, I spelled it correctly) a long time ago so don't remember exactly where it came from (the Samba maybe?), but this is what I have in my notes; anyway- The the jist of it-
a plain rusted nut/bolt with no penetrant whatsoever- 516 (ft-lbs?) to break free WD40- 238 (ft-lbs?) to loosen Liquid Wrench- 127 atf/acetone mix (50-50)- 53 no mention of the heat/candle trick.
For Ed's Red, you make it yourself. Originally a gun cleaner.
1 qt. dextron III
1 qt. kerosene , the real one
1 qt. odorless mineral spirits (not really odorless)
1 qt. acetone
...and that's gotta be a lifetime supply right there
A buddy of mine swears by a half cup of diesel fuel and a few drops of Oil of Wintergreen. I've never tried it.
But it has a thousand uses 'ya see..
