Yeah.... E.C.B.
It is in fact ECB's Speedster.
If you've been to Carlisle in the last 9 years you've seen that car and the cool folks that own it.... or are owned by it. Go to Carlisle in May and meet the whole family.

Yup, I'm the guilty party. Purchased the kit from CMC in '86 and on the road in '88. Not much choice of wheels back then and didn't know much about disc brakes so I bought hubs drilled with a Chevy bolt pattern and purchased aluminum American Racing wheels. Tires are Kumho 50 series, 205 and 225.
Gas cap is a 356 cap with VW guts welded in, the handle on top is 1/8" plate drilled and welded to the cap, the filler end of the VW tank was welded into a tube that goes down into the VW tank.
Headlight stone guards were purchased from Klasse 356 in Allentown, PA a number of years ago.
Thanks for asking.
VERY NICE RIDE BRUCE
Thanks, guys. I've had it a long time, due for a makeover.
Huge fan of the car and the man who owns it.
Check out that ankle (shin?) biter exhaust! ECB takes it everywhere - well exercised car. Love it.
