i bought one from Kirk at VW in 2004 it cost me $18,000 before taxes. You are correct, over the past year or so, they have not disclosed pricing, i wonder why.  I would say his cars go for about $24K.  The other vendors in the area that sell his cars mark them up to $29K, which  I think is too high.  www.truspeedmotorcars.com sells them.  www.pristinemotorsports sells them too.

Curious, why did you sell your car?  I had mine for 6 years and it was my best car but times/things change and economy was bad, i had to sell mine to break even.  I regret it to this day.  I had my car look just like an original too and it fooled the original enthusiasts.  email me sometime, we can chat more about it. jf356@yahoo.com

if the cars are going for $23,500 now, that's pretty darn good considering the jump in the original speedsters/coupes/ and older porsches in general that are rediculous skyrocketing well above 6 figurs.   Prices have jumped up from $18,000 in 2004 to $23,500 with Kirk's cars.  IF anyone likes to elaborate and get more information about speedsters and how to go about buying one , let me know if i can be any assistance.  I know Kirk on a personal level, he use to be my neighbor in Sunset Beach.

Leon , how do you like your turn key spyder? Ya it's crazy prices have jumped but the spyders have always cost more than a speedster. I take a $35,000 car over a $1,5million spyder any day now.   I test drove one about 8 years ago, i really loved it but i prefer a speedster to cruise cuz i already have a real porsche 911 i enjoy  .  I am debating whether to keep it or to save for a speedster in the next few years.  the speedster was my funnest car i ever had. so mad that i sold it. I had to though.

Hi; no I didn't sell; still have it. I was just curious because it's not advertised anymore; it used to be. Thanks for your contribution.

Yes sir! It's me. I did post a few months ago and when I tried to log in I noticed everything had changed. I didn't know how to reactivate my account so I just set it up agsin with the same username but somehow I feel there might be two accounts (both mine) with my username. I am in Puerto Rico again for the time being; my contract expired after almost 5 years in New Orleans. I am looking for a job but at the same time it's positive because I have time with my car down here. When life hands you lemons, you make lemonade!
