Looks like a heavily modified Vintage Spyder. Vintage frame. Like the Type 4 engine and 5-speed. Many aluminum parts on fiberglass. Would worry about vibration of the aluminum with the fiberglass. A little pricey but has some nice bits.
Yes, it is a Vintage Spyder. I repainted it 2 years ago in Porsche GT Silver and serviced/modified it the last 2 winters. The quality of the aluminum work is the best I have seen. The original bill on the aluminum work was more than the asking price of the car (seriously).
What did it sell for?
