Anyone know where I can find a shop or place that sells custom drilled brake drums for a VW? I use brake drums on th back and discs on the front, so I would like to get them redrilled for a 5 lug chevy wheel....

Drilling a 5 bolt GM pattern will have some of the holes bored on the web that is cast on the back side of the drum, others will fall offset of the web, I don't know that there is enough "meat" when a stud would fall on the outside of the web in the drum. I know any 4 bolt i.e Miata etc will match up to the web.

ok Alan...
burst my bubble...I am trying to get a bigger variety of wheels to use with my 359...any ideas?

The right way will cost you , change the rear brakes to disc and order them with blank rotors and the choice is then endless...my .02

What about wheel adaptors? It might be an option depending on body to wheel space and type of wheel...

You won't have the rib problem if you buy rotors and drums drilled for the 5X130 porsche pattern.
