Bummer Dr. C.

A glasspar would look awesome on one of these cars... Unfortunately the lenth is off.  the fibersteel guys will not modify them for replicas... There was no talking Russ a few years back into doing it when he had my car in his shop.... But he was happy to sell one for 5k$ for me to cut up.    I have one of Kirks, mbest bang for my buck... And Fiberstell did the rear window cutting fitting ( or at least they used to)

The rain gutter would also be challenging I imagine....

Oh well... Just day dreaming.  My dad has a glasspar on his 356 and it just looks so darn cool.

Awesome job Alan.

My business partner also had a chicken fly across his path at 50 mph, it hit the side view mirror and exploded...white **** all over him and into the truck. Not a nice smell.

There has to be a 100 of them on the acre around my house. They are everywhere.

The cause, back in 92 we had hurricane Iniki hit the island and blew all the Chicken coupes apart. Since there are no natural predators to the chickens, they just multiply by the dozens!

Weights under 25 lbs, if installing alone I would first put a blanket on the back section of the car, easy two minute installation .

Mike,  IMHO I would try to get a bare shell from RT.  and a VS header bow. Fit the 3 rear rubber fasteners, install the header bow and lay the top on top of the bow mark and trim bonding the top to the bow and fill it in smooth.  Then you'll have to fabricate a rear window out of racing window plastic and U channel rubber. Glue up the headliner material, test fit the  U channel rubber that the side curtain rests against....Disassemble all of that then paint and reinstall.
