The custom flared fenders IM story....

I saw this super high end speedster in 1994 or so at the Bug Out in Manass Va. I lusted over the car , took a photo and almost forgot about it. It since had appeared in a feature story in the Kit Car Magazine. I moved from NJ to PA and had that photo on my garage wall , a neighbor commented that THAT  car in the photos was just 2 miles from my house . I tried to buy it from then owner - builder Mike Haverstock ( then the best street rod interior shops in the east ) but was...... not available , a few years later with a failing motor I bought it, installed afresh motor and other upgrades. Sold the car to Florida owner . Fast forward 6 - 8 years later I bought it back, did some upgrades to include the Auto meter gauges etc...needed other work too and I sold it the the present owner in LA. This speedster is solid as one can hope for, well thought out with a high end leather interior, one off top, super paint  etc. Mike Haverstock had told me that the top, 1/4 boot and interior would have retailed in his shop  1990 for a whopping $8k . I currently have three possible pending speedster projects and there is just no room at the Inn so to speak. What a beautiful Speedster!
