NOT MINE but interesting customized Speedster. Built by past IM employee. Check out rear wing, extended integrated bumpers, nice unique color, push button start, power windows.

The hangie down thingie looks removable, but I don't see how it would not interfere with the engine. I wonder if he installed a pop-up spoiler thing like some modern 911s have.
Just now noticed the flat headlights! I've always looked at Boxster headlights and thought they would be cool integrated into a 359/959 replica.
Considering the strange and dare I say unique ideas I've seen in the VW and Replicar World this car is ....humm kinda interesting if not my taste! That's the fun of Replicas. If you did that to a REAL Speedster it would be a Hangin offense! LoL
I think the bumpers do it no favors. Without them it wouldn't look bad.
Guess I'm in the minority in liking what was done here. It states its a "tribute" replica, and, being a one-of-a-kind creation. I think whoever built it did a nice job of combining both newer and older styles into one—using the 356 as the base.
That speedster/Boxster look doesn't work for me either.
I've seen its twin near where I live and it doesn't look any better in real life.
The guy has been trying to sell the car for a long time.

Very good Lane...the description says "...power retractable Porsche 911 style rear spoiler...." ;-)
I suspect when you open the engine cover, the "hangie down thingie" does not lift with it. But when you raise the spoiler, the entire unit rises. Still hard to figure see how there is room in the engine bay for all that.
Not liking this one much.
Not my cup of tea.
I think the lights come from a beetle... interesting but not my cup of tea.
Looks cluttered, different color and wheels might do it
"Speedster Custom Recreation"???
I think NOT...With that windshield, and roll up windows it should be properly be promoted as "ROADSTER Custom recreation"
Ray, is this black roadster Intermeccanica?
If so, I didn't realize they had a post '59 B product.
BTW, what porno magazine did you find this seductive beauty in?
I'm a bit surprised by guys who like wide-bodies and swoon over the PGO abortion (IMHO) who don't like this. It's not my cup 'o joe, but it seems well executed and no more odd to my eye than the PGO.
Ray,
On chilly damp days anything with heat and roll-up windows is my "cup of tea"!!!
Besides, I'm partial to BLACK...it projects a sultry, semi-sinister, personality.
I have a totally different 'image' of Musbjim since he traded his white VS in on that stunning black beauty he now drives.
