"Cuzin" Windows Now Available Worldwide Through eBay

The eBay Global Shipping Program now makes it possible for me to sell and ship "Cruzin" Windows worldwide.  The SOC discount will still be available to SOC members ordering through eBay, but will be offered in the form of a rebate sent after the windows have been delivered.

They are made out of acrylic with chrome hardware and are 100% made in the USA.  Here is a link to the eBay ad with lots of pictures and a video, but if you are in the USA order them directly through me for the SOC discount.  http://www.ebay.com/itm/221221582118?

 Porsche Speedster "Cruzin" Windows

Custom made replica Porsche Speedster windows for top down cruising.

These windows are custom made to fit replica Speedsters manufactured by Vintage Speedsters and JPS Speedsters, but may also fit CMC, FiberFab and other replica Speedster as well as original Speedsters.

They are made from a special green tinted acrylic material that makes them appear to be glass.  The green tint is barely visible when looking through the window, but very visible on the highly polished edges.  The hardware is high quality chrome plated (in the USA) stainless steel.

As mentioned, they are designed for top down cruising.  They can be used with the top up, but will not completely fill the window opening. The doors open normally with the windows installed and the windows are stable at highway speeds.

*They will fit Vintage and JPS cars without modification.  Other Speedster makes may require an additional hole drilled in the door rail at the top of the door panel for mounting.

No I don't.  The next size smaller screw was simply too small, so I opted for slightly longer vs too small.

No worries... it's only a couple on each side.

I'll throw em in a vise and get the dremmel out.

Well thank you Michael, but to get the $50 SOC Supporting Member discount (regular SOC members get a $25 discount) you were supposed to order them directly from me, not through eBay.

But, no worries, I'll refund you the $50 after the transaction is completed in eBay.

I'll get them assembled and shipped to you early next week.
Thanks again!

PS.  I noticed that you have a widebody Vintage, which means your car is already cool, so your "Crusin" windows will only double it's "coolness" factor.  i'm sorry, but you won't experience the quadruple increase in coolness that regular Speedsters do!

I'd love to see some pictures of your car.

Troy, have you considered making these to fit the soft top, or Kirks hard top?  I'm new to the forum, and to replicas.   These look awesome.

I just pickled up knew 356 from VS, In Seattle our season is short, and my previous original did wonderful with a hard top and acrylic windows in our wet weather.  Looking to recreate the experience with my new VS.

Got my Troy made Cruzin windows last week and a friend helped me mod them to fit my SE/Beck Speedster.

I shorten them to match the door seams the front is behind the wind screen slip stream so the small gap is cool.

  • Cut , drilled and tapped the rails (Had to move one of the post holders)
  • Cut and rounded the rail posts  (They were too long for the door rails on the car)
  • Cut the Plexiglas windows and polished them (Removed about 2" from the front of each window)

I'm very happy with them and I knew they were not made for the SE/Beck and I'd need to do the mods.

Pete

Yes George I do have a set.  They are $300 less the $50 discount for a SOC Supporting member plus $25 shipping for a total of $275.  To order, just make the $275 payment to my PayPal account (vanatic99 at yahoo.com) or send a check to:

1652 E. Omaha Ave.
Fresno, Ca. 93720

FYI.  If you're buying them because it's getting cool and you can finally drive your car, that's great, but if it's because it's getting cool and you think they will help hold in heat, they won't.
