CV bolts

Any suggestions as to where I can buy two of those 12-point socket head bolts used to install the CV joints? Two of mine have the socket rounded out.

Maybe I'm lucky because I have a local hardwware store (Marshal's) that has every bolt or screw or fastener, SAE or metric, known to mankind.

Short of that I'd start with a phone call to NAPA, because I think they are one cut above Pep Boys, Kragen, Auto Zone, et all. I'm guessing that is a 10.9 or grade 8 bolt for strength?

Porsche ones will work, just get the right length...

But these do not look to be 12 point but rather 6 point don't they? Move youir curser over the pic and you can enlarge the head to get a closer look.

Brian, 6 point or 12, I always take a hammer and make sure the socket is ALL the way into the bolt, no stripped ones for me. Worst case, you can get them out with a small pipe wrench or vice-grips.

Its .net not .com - got them ready to go - was just going to put stamps on in padded envelop - think 3 stamps will do it?
