Feb issue of Kit Car Builder, last page shows a picture of a "flip top" Fiat 500 funny car with a dual 4 barrel V8 peeking out under stock bodywork. Now that would give 'ol Cyclops a run, for a quarter mile anyhow!

That reminds me of the car Oldsmobile was going to introduce to compete against the VW Beetle back in the late 50s. Olds's 98s and 88s were gas guzzlers so GM designers came up with a compact model they would call the Urine8, a car to piss around town in.
