I am working through some dashboard issues, fusing some unfused lines on spec and this week achieving understanding of why and how VS would use a headlight switch for the wipers. I have a symptom that I don't understand, though: My turn signals work fine and the dashboard turn signal indicator flashes with them as it should. BUT when the turn signals are off, the turn signal indicator glows a little, not at full voltage. My uninformed guess is the car is telling me it would have preferred a three-connector flasher unit rather than the two-connector flasher unit it has. Do I call this a problem and pursue a solution, or leave it alone as long as the flashers do their thing? Thanks for this and other insights from this irreplaceable site.

The glowing indicator is a back feeding ground issue, I would first try switching from 2 prong to a 3 prong: on the flasher the X is 12 V in, P ( pilot) is indicator and L ( Load) is power the signal switch.
