Took my Speedster down to Providence Lacquer today so they could color match the Beck silver blue using a Spectrometer. It's a small computerized machine that they place on the car in various areas (to account for shading differences) and BAM...In about 30 seconds it prints out the various tints and their amounts to EXACTLY match your cars paint.

Here's what they found.

BECK Silver/blue (at least for MY 2004 Special Editions car) is..........

1985 CHRYSLER ICE BLUE.......Paint code PB-1

I had them mix up 1/2 a pint for me in enamel and sure as hell.....PERFECT MATCH!!!

So....For all you folks out there with paint chips on your Silver/blue BECK'S????

You can now go to Dupli-color or paintmatch.com and order yourslef a $6 touchup tube of 1985 Chrysler Ice Blue code PB-1 and see what you think.

I've been in the car business for over 20 years and the match on this is ....P E R F E C T!!! NOT close.....PERFECT!!!

Thought it might help someone.
