Thought I would post this.  My version of a dead pedal install using a "hook side" velcro pad instead of bolts.  You have all seen this deal pedal, but I thought I would install it so it could be removed and adjusted w/o drilling bolt holes in the body.  Tried out some velcro and amazingly enough the hook side holds extremely well on the VS carpeting.  As you probably also see, this is not finished, used plexiglass, should have used plywood or similar, but after a few test rides, it still is not pretty, but holds tight.

BTW got the dead pedal w/pad at Sierra Madre, they seem to have the best price and service.IMG_0203

I couldn't resist the joke.

At least you can have a dead pedal. My feet are too damn big, so there is no room for one in my car, and my right foot has to be without a shoe when I drive my car.

There is a wide pedal assembly available that seperates the clutch from the brake by a lot and then if you were to be including a roller type accelerator pedal that might help you other than that a pair of cucumber stabbers might help uhhh... I mean cowboy boots they might reach in there to handle the pedal work.

Ryan,  good idea I will ask justin where I can get some carpet pieces.  Love not having to lay my leg on the floor.  Probably will move the pedal a bit further forward (if I can get it off!!

Thanks

Why not undo the carpet from the wall and place a plexiglass plate behind it and use Chicago screws to hold the pedal exactly where you want it and that way with the velcro as well as the plate with screws will be so solid nothing will ever move once the whole thing is properly held on the wall.   You also will have no body holes

No body piercings means no future regrets ... now I should tell my kids that

Those pedals are made by OMP. I have a set, forgotten whom from I purchased. One of the racing parts sites.  OMP makes helmets, suits etc.

One thing I like about them is, strip the rubber VW pads off and I was able to offset the brake and clutch pedals, when I drilled the holes to mount these, for a better fit.
