Decent Tires for Speedie?

Hello guys, I am in need of tires and I'm not having any luck with local guys regarding availability. Anyone have some insight here in So Cal to good quaity tires at a decent price.

Tire Rack dot com? I've never used them, but I keep hearing people talk about them being the best for cheap.

Kuhmo's are the only 165 15 at Tire rack a good deal at $32 but currently on bock order.
There are any number of suppliers that can get you this size tire as well as West Coast VW parts houses.

If you can, hold out for the Kumho tires that Alan mentioned. A GREAT tire at a really good price. Even if you have to get 'em elsewhere, go with Kumho.

OK, picked up my rear tires at a local guys shop here.. but I put on 185 X 15's a little wider than the 165's and a tad higer, but they look SWEEEEETTT... SO I am very happy today... $100.00 out the door! including balancing and mounting...
