My resolution for 2008 is to 1. Save the World and 2. Tighten my side and bumper trim (not necessarily in this order). Maybe you can help me with one of these...

I give the nuts on those carriage bolts more than a few ft/lbs of torque and it rounds off the squared aluminum holes that hold the head fixed. Pulling that rubber off and putting it back in looks to be a nightmare. Any other tricks or glue ideas or whatever you've got? I have some I'm trying to loosen and some to tighten, and can't get to the carriage heads either way - they just spin.
