Start by getting clean air into the garage...........

First check the gas tank float plate to tank 5-6 screws as they can leak there. Then with a dry rag in hand begin in the front checking every gas related connection with the rag. Move to the left rear wheel well where the fuel line comes out of the chassis and then begin to check all in the engine bay.  If nothing is found and you have an electric fuel pump turn the key to on to pressurize the fuel line, shut the key off  and recheck again. If still nothing take the car for a short ride and pull back into the garage, remove the air filter tops and see if you have a heavy gas smell coming from inside the carb(s).Let us know !

I let the car run a bit, blocked and can’t drive it right now. After turning it of, I wanted and looked into the carb to see if wet, it was dry but smells like gas. Turned the pressure down to 3 from 3.5. Started the car again and can’t tell a difference. I haven’t taken for a drive to feel if the car is now restricted in any way with the pressure lower. Tightened the manifold screws a bit, tightened the gas pressure gauge, tightened the valve covers underneath. I tried all the screws i could without touching the ones on the carb as it may be set to a specific torque.  I don’t even know why I park inside the garage, since I just want to be driving around all the time 😁. I just want it to be better that perfect and feel a bit disappointed. Btw, no leaks on the ground either.
