Edward -- you can do this yourself.

All you need is the snail:

And the book:

Make SURE you have NO play or slop in the ball pivot joints on your crossbar linkage between the carbs. (if there is any play in the linkage between carbs it will be impossible to balance at off-idle)

Make sure your manifold stud nuts at the bottom of the manifold (at the case) are tight. (if loose, them maybe the gasket at that joint is now damaged and leaking intake air)

Why is it you think you have carb problems? Contrary to myth and urban legend, once they are dialed in they are pretty much good-to-go for a long time. Often, "carb problems" are typically something else -- especially with Dellortos.

edit: PS -- somebody on this site sells the crossbar conversion kit from the ball tip ends to the rod eye ends. If your cross bar has the ball pivot tips on the ends, then find out who it is that has the conversion kit and INSTALL IT. Clouds will clear, gates will open, angels will sing; trust me.
I've been dealing with Dells for a long time and never seen this issue when it could not be cured by lowering a too-high fuel pressure situation. Lead passage seals loosening over time? Never seen it on a street machine.

Also, if you find that the ball ends of your hex bar are, indeed, worn and allowing too much slop, I have a couple of conversion kits left that will convert your hex bar from ball joint to Heim joint. the kit is $40 including shipping in the USA. The trouble is, that they're at my Winter house, so I would need a week to get someone in there and grab a kit and get it mailed. Just let me know.

In the meanitme, I'll see if I can source the parts at the Summer place, but I'm sure the price will go up, as the Heim joints I use are German sourced and were going up at the wholesaler last I looked.
