This was on Craigslist on Friday, but I couldn't get down there in time to make the deal. It is already sold, so don't bother calling the guy; his phone has been ringing off the hook.
Was it someone on here who got it?

I dont think Doc Clock would come all the way out here for it. It would cost a fortune in gas! Maybe a car shipping buddy heading home empty though.

Seems like a GOOD deal, but pan-based, 35k miles, a quarter century old and "needs some TLC" does not sound like a SMOKING deal to me. If the car sold for something close to the asking price, I would think that both buyer and seller did well.

Youz guys are giving me a complex....Had I seen this, probably ummm sure uh, ya ! But the buyer wasn't me. I already imported one "El'Diablo" speedster from Cali-forn-i-a this month.

I'm with Hoss on this one. Best deal I've seen in the last six months was mine. $6,500 cash. ~ 8,500 miles on a 1983 built IM, straight stock 1600 in the "daily driver" catergory. I...oopps, we drove it from Boise, ID to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in six days. Needed tires and about $300 worth of "touch ups" and finally I dumped about $2K into a new engine. It doesn't have much chrome, no fancy wheels, no roll bar, no stereo ( got heat ) , no air, no cruise. Hope to see you in Carlisle, via Sacramento etc .... That's a recent pic from St. Pete's, Fl.

Ya got good eyes, Dood. That pic is of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and it was taken from the turnaround at the end of the beach road in Ft. Desoto. We've pulled our trailer into there for the last three years in April. A very nice RV park. Even got to party with the Red Hot Chili Peppers the last time.

Ft. Desoto is one of my favorite spots in Florida. I have camped there a few times. Good time to be there in April......
