I cut a bunch (87pcs) of Bosch (cast iron) distributor plastic slides/thingies for my buddy Jim Ansite yesterday on my clicker press. Apparently they're hard to find and extremely expensive to purchase. jim is one of the few guys left who can re-curve and calibrate distributors on his Sun distributor machine.

PISSAH!
Who made the dies?
Very cool, Will! @Will Hesch
Roeub Yun, he owns Yun Laser Die. He's the best and I never wait more than a week for completed dies, works of art!
@Will Hesch- Would you be interested in doing a few more, Will?
Curious: what is this part, and how does it work?
Al, sure, how many do you need?
Ed, it is what the weights slide on as the distributor advance changes
Pretty cool Will. What do you normally use the press for?
When I was in college a million years ago, I worked in an envelope factory and they used these same type of cutting dies to cut the blank sheets of paper to be folded into envelopes. They were about 3” long and could cut through 500 sheets of paper in one push. This guy would be a good one to contact about making a die for carburetor gaskets we can’t find for kart engines.
I purchased the 10 ton clicker-press for our coolfoot line www.coolfoot.biz but then needed it for our Bac Rac line www.bac-rac.com
I use it to cut the perfect-match Reutter rack pads, shims for Jim and anything I get a hankerin' to have

They're clever enough to provide a nice living for Kathy and I, I'm blessed!
