I know someone here said Beaulieu of America makes a good carpet for the speedster. I am looking to get some to do it myself. Can someone recommend the style name and color for a tan interior? Thanks.

Mat--I installed a set from Vintage Speedsters. Nice carpet, fit perfectly and reasonable cost.
As long as you are going to install carpet, consider painting the floorpan with truck bed liner and installing Dynomat before the carpet is installed.

That is actually what I am looking to do. I am setting up a 1915 engine build and it looks like I may run 2 honda mufflers one after the other. From some research I heard I can get the thing really quiet. I want to see about doing the carpet myself though.

Many are using the indoor/outdoor carpet at Lowes and binding the stuff themselves.
Run a search here and go to Lowes and check it out.

i used Beaulieu of America Berber carpet. i bought it at home depot. the only downside is the thickness. it's quick thick and hard to bend tightly around complex corners.
check out my site for pictures of the installtion. i took a picture of the manufactures tag as well if that helps.
binding was professionally done (no sewing machine skills for me)
3M glue in a spray can was used to hold it in place.

Ya I know I found some at Home Depot as well that I like but the thickness was crazy. I know lowes has some but the colors are not what I am looking for.
Try a real Carpet Store they have indoor outdoor carpet available in a couple of dozen shades and colors.
Mat...I did as Alan suggests; bought indoor/outdoor carpet at a carpet store. Did my own edging using INSTABIND. For details and a few pictures, go to this sites SEARCH function; search for CARPET; for forum click on GENERAL; scroll down to a post dated 3/18/2009.
Brian do you have more info on the brand and name of carpet you got? It looks great.
